Kelite Valve is specialized in manufacturing Cryogenic Butterfly valves with following good characteristics: good sealing performance, reliable safety guarantee, long life span and etc. Cryogenic Butterfly valve is one type of the many cryogenic valves, and the other types are cryogenic ball valve, cryogenic gate valve, cryogenic globe valve and etc.
Long neck bonnet design is used for Cryogenic butterfly valve which could not only minimize the incoming of heat from environment which may cause the gasfication of medium, but also at same time avoid the packing from being frosty or freezing by maintaining the temperature above 0 ℃. The length of the long neck is the most important factor for this designing, and it refers to the distance between the bottom of packing box and the surface of back sealing of valve.
Cryogenic Butterfly valves(Generally flanged connection) are suitable for use on various kinds of pipeline from Class150 To Class600, PN16 To PN100 to cut off or connect the flowing of medium. By using different material, the valves could be suitable for medium such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxidizing substance, carbamide and etc. Manual/worm gear/pneumatic or electric actuators could be chosen by needs.
Cryogenic Butterfly valve refers to the butterfly valve with working temperature below -40℃, normally used on devices containing Ethylene, LNG and etc. The flammable & exposive cryogenic liquid medium cryogenic butterfly valve served such as ethylene, liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen, LNG, liquefied petroleum products and so on would gasify if temperature increases which having hundreds of times bigger volume than in liquid state. Cryogenic butterfly valve is an indenpensable device and ensures the safe, economic and continous working in industry of petroleum chemical, air separation, natural gas and so on.
