Kelite valves specialized in manufacturing Cryogenic Gate valve with following good characteristics: good sealing performance, reliable safety guarantee, long life span and etc. Cryogenic Gate valve is one of the most widely used cutting off valve as the device of cutting off or connecting the flowing medium in pipeline, but nor for regulation purpose. Gate valve has a wide applicable range, both for pressure, temperature and nominal size, especially for middle & large sized pipe. The connection type of cryogenic gate valve could be flanged, screwed or socket welding.
Flanged Cryogenic Gate valve is used to connect pipe and fitting or its accessories. Flanged connection has the features of easy installation, good connection strength and good excellent sealing performance. The flange connection consists of flanges, bolts, nuts and gasket. When we fasten the connecting bolts, it would press the sealing gasket between the flange which would have elastic deformation and fill all the small space between the two flanges' sealing face, thus to realize the good sealing.
Cryogenic Gate valve refers to the valve with working temperature below -110℃ and widely used in area of LNG, LPG and other cryogenic medium. There are two different types of bonnet designing. One is bolted bonnet, i.e. the body is connected with bonnet by bolts & nuts with spiral wound gasket(If required, metal ring gasket could be provided) between. And the other type is welded bonnet, i.e. the bonnet is welded to body directly.
Cryogenic Gate valves are suitable for using on various kinds of pipeline from Class150 To Class900, PN16 To PN160 to cut off or connect the flowing of medium. By using different material, the valves could be suitable for medium such as water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, oxidizing substance, carbamide and etc. Manual/bevel gear/pneumatic or electric actuators could be chosen by needs.
Most types of Cryogenic Gate valve is forced sealing, i.e. when valve is closing, an external force should be pushed on the gate to press it onto the seat surface so as to realize the good sealing.
The rising stem cryogenic gate valve is the gate valve whose stem moves up and down together with the disc. With the function of stem nut and guiding groove on valve body, the cryogenic gate valve turns the rotation movement of disc to linear motion.
